See what truly haunts me as a writer...⁡you might relate! ⁡
⁡⁡
⁡BTW, rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated...it was just a little (ahem, WEEK LONG) battle with the flu. ⁡
⁡⁡
⁡Ready to get back in there, folks! ⁡
⁡⁡
⁡Hope all is well.⁡

Three years ago, the pigeon in this photo sat silently on our balcony late into the night, refusing to move even as my wife (Not me, LOL) tried her best to shoo it away. ⁡
⁡⁡
⁡That, and the serious antipathy I've had toward our feathered friends since childhood, summoned this little tale from the depths.
⁡⁡
Some of the incidents described here are inspired by real events. ⁡
⁡⁡
You'll have to guess which ones. ⁡

"Farewell, Peter Cullen..."⁡⁡
⁡⁡
I watched Optimus Prime breathe his last breath onscreen on my 10th birthday with my brother and Dad, and honestly the trauma has never really left me. As weird as it is to say, he was a hero of my youth. ⁡
⁡⁡
⁡I never imagined that, 40 years later, I'd be saying goodbye to the man who embodied him so perfectly. ⁡I honestly kinda teared up composing this photo. So sad to see him roll out... 😥⁡⁡
⁡⁡
⁡Anybody else wanna share movie memories?
⁡⁡
⁡P.S. Don't have fists for my vintage Prime (I bought him that way, cheap). Pro tip: Editing in Batman 66's fists works in a pinch. ⁡
