✨Virgen del Valle✨
I dedicate this mural to our community who’ve been under attack. I wanted to show the beauty, strength and resilience of our people incorporating the beauty of the land. Art tells stories and this is my homage to ours. ✊🏽

Shoutout to my lovely amiga @marcivillosa for helping me bring my vision to life

I also got a to see another great friend too! Thank you @mayraisapanda for stopping by.

Yesterday was my last day as a park ranger for the National Park Service. I couldn’t be more grateful for the career I have had thus far. While the natural landscape, rich cultural heritage, and continued learning have been a perk, what truly made this experience for me is the people I have had the honor of working with, and the support of my family. Thank you to everyone who has joined me along the way. See you on the trail, Ranger Mary out.

hi all!! i want to take a moment on here to express my gratitude for the overwhelming support we received this weekend @mxmellona ‘s solo fest. i miss live theater dearly. even though these plays were performed over zoom i still felt a huge sense of community, support and love. this weekend provided me with renewed energy to continue creating. the pandemic put me in a huge creative funk and feeling your love reminded me of my power. when you support artists by showing up to their shows and going to see their work you’re uplifting and empowering us. it feels like little pep talks along the way and sometimes we desperately NEED them. again thank you so much. to be fully transparent not only did you give me renewed strength you also helped me afford my groceries this month. Paying and supporting BIPOC artists is so important because you’re really just helping us survive in order for us to continue doing what we love most in this world.
Special shout-out to @adali_323, @mayraisapanda and @dakarishea for consistently showing up for me & my work. Ya’ll really my people. I love ya’ll!🌞🙏🏽🙏🏽
