I’ve been growing my hair on and off my whole life, and this is the longest it’s ever gotten.

Currently, I’ve been growing it out for just about 2.5 years, and I’ve never had hair this long in my life 😅. And that’s because I have learned a thing or two about length retention and general hair health since I became a trichologist, and every Thursday, I’ll be sharing a #TrichologistTip with you.

Today we are talking about how heat protectant has been a game changer for my hair length retention. It hasn’t always been something I’ve taken seriously in the past, and I’ve often rawdogged my heat styling processes because I couldn’t be bothered 😅.
