A mantra invoking deep nourishment, strength and reverence for life 🤍

Many of you asked for the words of the chant from our latest release, Divine Mother, so here they are:

Amba Amba Tāye
Akhilāṇḍeśvari Nīye
Annapūrṇeśvari Tāye
Oṁ Ādiparāśakti Nīye

“O Mother, O Divine Mother.

You are Akhilāṇḍeśvarī, Sovereign Mother of the Universe.

O Mother Annapūrṇā, giver of nourishment and abundance.

You are the Primordial Divine Power, the Original Cosmic Śakti.”

In the Indian wisdom tradition, these names point to different faces of the same living reality: the nourishing, creative and protective force that sustains all life.

Three generations chanting to the Divine Mother 🤍

Something so deep and beautiful moves in me when I hear this prayer travel through the generations in my own lineage: from mother to son, and from son to grandson. I honestly don’t know how to put into words how healing this feels… 🥹😭

The way we relate to the divine mother (and to the feminine as a whole) shapes the way we relate to life itself.

Today DIVINE MOTHER (Amba Amba Taye) is out everywhere 🤍 This song is the first release from a larger musical project dedicated entirely to the Divine Mother that will have tons of collaborations with women I deeply admire and respect. And for this first one… the voice of my own mother’s!

For me, this project is deeply connected to remembering another way of relating to life:
letting go of domination, extraction and disconnection,
and opening our hearts more and more to reverence, care, interdependence and the sacredness of the living world.

The mantra invokes Annapūrṇā ( one of the many name-forms of the Divine Mother in the Indian tradition) associated with nourishment, compassion and the sacred sustaining force of life itself.

May this music bring you softness, strength and deep nourishment.

Deep gratitude to my mum @arunamaymeditacion for giving me the gift of life and singing this healing song with me, to my love @iam.tarabelle for showing me so strongly the sacredness of motherhood through our newborn, to @breathewithsudha for the beautiful friendship and classical dance she did for the song (more on that soon!), to @karin13h for always being there and also lending her voice to the choir in the last section of the song and of course to @namihandpan.fv for creating the amazing handpan that holds the whole song together! A todas las personas que lo hicieron posible, gran trabajo del ayuntamiento de Candelaria y de la organización, me llevo un bonito recuerdo. Anoche viví uno de esos momentos que quedan marcados para siempre. Diseñar y operar la
iluminación del espectáculo "María" ha sido un privilegio enorme, no solo por lo que significa este
homenaje a la gran María Mérida, sino porque sobre ese escenario cantó mi mujer, su hija.
Ver cómo la luz abrazaba su voz, rindiendo tributo a una figura tan inmensa como María, fue
profundamente emotivo. Este proyecto ha sido mucho más que trabajo: ha sido amor, legado y
memoria viva.
Gracias a todos los que lo hicieron posible.
