That’s a wrap on summer meltdown and my first season with Galing! Can’t even put into words how thankful I am for this opportunity to dance with my favorite team. I’ve been such a fan bro. Shoutout to all the choreos for trusting me to be a part of it🫶🏼 Met some amazingly talented people and new friends. Really gonna miss y’all, but until next year hopefully 🫡

I'm not one to post often, or to be sappy at an end-of-year post but...
This year but specifically this last semester has been a rough one. I had a ton of awful physical ailments happen to me in such a short amount of time in the last few months... But, this year has also given me a bunch of amazing memories! These are only a tiny few peeks into my life this year, with a few of my favourite people. I didn't put in every single person or memory that made this year great, because there were tons 😇 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!! Looking forward to another great year 🥰

This past weekend, a few of our officers along with some members headed to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend the Region III Medical Education Conference (RMEC). We had the amazing opportunity to network with other MAPS and SNMA chapters from Region III, listen to phenomenal talks regarding health disparities, and learn about the Black history of Tulsa!

We’d like to send our thanks to all who planned this conference and to our host institution, the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine!

TLDR: It was so nice to perform at ICCA again. Even though I’m sad we won’t be advancing, I’m still thankful for the opportunity to perform on a stage in front of a live audience again 💛🖤

.
Let me start this post off by just expressing how proud I am of this group. We went, we put on an amazing show, we got the most applause and cheers and we killed our performance, no question about that. 💛🖤
.
But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t upset. I genuinely believe that we deserved to advance. I genuinely think we should’ve placed and I know we put on a winning show, but this is just how the cards were stacked that day. I’m sad, and I’ve been having a tough time really processing this these past couple days, but I can’t sit around and mope whenever there’s still so much to be proud of. Together with Brittney, I started this group not knowing if it would last even throughout our first year, afraid that it would fall apart at any time, scared of what the future held for us, but I’m so proud of everything we’ve done and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the accomplishments this group has made and where this group is headed. There’s more out there, and there’s still quite a bit of time left in this school year, and we plan to make the most of it!
.
I love this group and everyone who’s ever been in it, I love a cappella, and I can’t wait to see and be a part of all the things this group accomplishes in the future! Love you guys 🖤💛
