POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Day 1 of my "Downieville Route" from the Bay Area had the balanced mix of goatiness, technical, speedy sweepers, and views. Couldn't have asked for better weather.

Kidnapped the local GixxerBra, The h0e-Man, Todd Ho for continued elevated conversations and wonderful life stories including a sprinkling of his countless riding/driving at the limits of various tracks across the world. Embodiment of Tiger Penis Energy.

I suppose this is my best attempt at life balance with workflow being hectic, wire harness work for the RX7 being exhausting, body not cooperating fully for the gym, and love-life being spectacularly distant.

While my riding hasn't been top tier, my explorative spirit has brought me so much joy and wonderment while others seem to find bleakness and hardship.

Could be worse. Never boring.

Many more photos of this trip to come... As well as videos and routes for everyone to enjoy.

Day 2 of the Cherry Lake Route

Jesus Maria was top tier, hit rain on Hwy 89 near Markleeville, and the lakes on Hwy 4 were incredible.

Day 1 of the Cherry Lake Route is complete. Some of the best Low Sierras scenery I could have ever imagined.

The riding itself was a fun experience. Two One-And-Dones for me we're Priest Grade Hwy 120 which is just a traffic mess enough to where Todd's bike hit 240F, and the Northern route from Cherry Lake into town just being an absolute turd of a "road" with bumps, jitters, and nasty potholes.

Right before Sonora, there's an ending stretch of road that reminded me of Cecilville Station "The Racetrack" that I could do laps on indefinitely and never get bored.

Booking all of this to stay in Murphys was a treat. Great room, good food in town, town itself is incredible, and couldn't be happier.

22 years ago on this day, there were 41 drivers that competed at the historic Option Video Ikaten comp on January 17, 2003 held at Irwindale Speedway’s parking lot. Out of this group of OG drivers, 17 went on to compete in Formula Drift that started the following year in 2004. It’s interesting seeing the cars each of these drivers started out competing in and where the level of driving / car builds were at the start of the mainstream US drifting competitions that kicked off in 2003.

Post crash... If you cause a crash don't walk to the other car saying it's not a big deal... The only words coming out of your mount should be "I am sorry, let me pay for it!" Yes, it's drifting and contact happens but when the incident is 100% your fault you should walk in and offer help to fix it.

Check out the official event video of the @bmw M Town Racing School 2023 in Taiwan

Organised by @bmwtaiwan, it accurately captured the owners’ fervent affection for their beloved M Performance and M High Performance vehicles, as well as their enthusiasm for track driving.

Proud to be a part of the instructor team once again. Thank you for having me, @shihmt !

We want your input!

Feeler...
What do you guys think about running 2 separate, top 8, Drift Royale comps on Wednesday nights at Sonoma?
1 on summer jam layout at 530pm. And the 2nd on paddock layout at 730pm.
Separate name draws out of the cheese-it box for each course to build a random bracket each time.
We also want to include our drivers without caged cars to compete for some cheese sticks or something.
Thinking a grid of 8 to throw down for top 3 single runs.

Not only did I get to drift at the iconic @cowpalacesf but I won the first ever drift competition here. Being a norcal native and SF resident for almost a decade I used to get thizzlamic at events here in the 00’s and I would always drive by it on my commute and think about how it would be sick to drift here. Shout out to @carnvl for making it happen.

The only other drift event I know of in SF was a drift demo at Candlestick Park in the early 2000’s. If anyone has the history on that I don’t want to say I won the first ever drift comp in SF if that’s not true so historians fill me in. I can say for sure it’s the first one in 20 years. Shout out to all the homies. It’s been good to drive with everyone. This year has been insane, but I’ll keep riding the wave.

Thank you for all the support everyone and special thanks to
