So, it’s been 10 years of poetry… Crazy to think about, but my first poem was a haiku about sharks in the 2016 edition of the Young American Poetry Digest. It’s at the end of this post, and if you can count, you’ll realize it was not a haiku.

I choose to believe I was being inventive. But also, you should know I’ve, for the most part, learned how to write a haiku. Among other things! Thanks to Progenitor Art and Literary Journal for accepting my poetry. You can read it after swiping.

Anyways, life update: it’s dope. Manuscript is done and it’s editing time. Here’s to another 10 years of poetry <3
