EPISODE 001: SEND IT

When David Goggins said to callous your mind by doing something difficult every day to prepare yourself for the fears life inevitably brings I heard him loud and clear.

There are so many potential versions of yourself waiting on the other side of simply giving it a go.

Skateboarding taught me that.

Getting over the fear of dropping into a ramp unlocked the ability to actually enjoy the entire park.

Let that sink in.

Sometimes the thing standing between you and an entirely new experience is one uncomfortable decision to just fucking go.

My journey isn’t over.
It’s just beginning.

And I don’t want it dictated by other people’s perceptions of who I should be. I want to build a life around what I’m creating:

Freedom.
Enjoyment.
Experiences.
Challenges.
Curiosity.

A life that feels full.

So I’m getting outside my comfort zone.
Getting further away from people who don’t support, encourage, or speak life.
Letting people go without question.
Staying present.
Becoming the version of myself I know is in there.

Fall on your face seven times.
Get up eight.

Be passionate.
Be carefree.
Care deeply.
Show yourself.
Try the thing.
Learn the skill.
Take the trip.
Send it.
