@mb_ateliers didn’t charge me for this video, everybody say thank you MB. Every single gesture in this video was directed by him 😂 this isn’t me. I’ll talk about what it took to make this shoot possible, but for now let’s talk about something else. Words.

Words are not ordinary. Words are a living thing. A word can be used to execute powerful things. Words can make or break you. Fleeting gossip spoken with our mouths can destroy someone’s reputation. Contrary to popular opinion, I don’t entirely agree with the notion that talk is cheap, not in most contexts at least. This is why I take my role as a writer very seriously. I know once I’ve said or published something, there’s no taking it back. I want to live a life of impact, and writing is one of the mediums I use to express that.

The Bible says the Word is God, and I believe it with everything in me. You are what you think and what you speak. Your actions have a huge role to play in how your life is translated, but you can’t wish your way into most of what you believe. You don’t only have to think it, you have to consciously give life to it with words till it becomes a part of you.

Minister BBO’s song with Minister Tope Alabi encapsulates this properly.

And that’s how I intend to live the next year, not only internalizing God’s Word over me but believing it and saying it every day. The Bible is filled with words, and it can be used as a weapon. I may not have muscles or guns, but I have my weapon. God’s Word.
