1963 Lancia Flavia Sport 1.5.
If you didn’t care for the Rover TCZ in one of my earlier posts, look away now : you won’t appreciate this Lancia any more, drawn by the same Ercole Spada for Zagato. It has to be said that it isn’t an easy car to love. Although I’ve been a Zagato fan since childhood, I’ll admit this model left me doubtful too. Over time, though, the design has grown on me more and more, to the point where it now stands alongside the other Zagato-bodied cars I hold in high regard.
In short : Lancia engineering, a (very) distinctive body signed with the Z, and a rare car, with only around 625 built. What’s not to like?

The incredible Ken Miles special—The Flying Shingle. Based on MG mechanicals, it raced in the Pebble Beach Del Monte Forest road races circa 1955. Ken Miles was a brilliant racer and car designer. He raced Porsches and Ford GT40s with great success. His story is central to the film Ford vs Ferrari. He died testing a Ford GT40 at Riverside, CA in the late 60s. #mg #flyingshingle #fordgt40 #porsche #fordvsferrari

The @thequailevents Motorsport Gathering is always full of amazing and wonderful stuff. Sponsors bring their A-game and entrants bring everything else! There was even a full class of @lamborghini #diablo variants and all the @ferrari #f40 versions. The best #day and the best #people. A special highlight was seeing @mbaum01 and @ww_rallies side by side and a great surprise with @livingthedreaminlb winning the @fiva_classics Preservation Award 🥇 Plus all the @hogislandoysterco you can eat 🦪 !
