Charity worker, cat and chicken mum, vegan, Eton Manorite, and not quite living in LA, yet. Terrible photographer!

10 years ago today we started this crazy journey by rehoming the OG E17 chickens, pictured. 27 girls (and boys) have now come through our doors: Chrissie, Helen, Gwen, Edna, Paula, Florence, Mary, Missy, Katie, Ophelia, Eddie, Sitty, Mabel, Dottie, Betty, Dina, Dafne, Kara, Blessing, Blanka, Lauren, Tatyana, Simone, Naomi, Ellie, Nafi and Georgia. If only we’d known then how much they would change our lives! @britishhenwelfaretrust #freerangeeastlondon #hensofinstagram #chickensofinstagram

Outstanding result and effort by @mbaxterwickham completing her first ever London marathon after struggling with a persistent knee injury for the past 2 years.

A short deadline for a 26 mile race with an overuse stressor on the knee the demands and detail for this to have worked were very high. Congratulations to Michelle for pulling this off!

We’re back to work, new goals. Sights are set on putting in a great performance at the Valencia half marathon in October!

As we say goodbye to 2023, we’re raising a glass to Blanka and Naomi (Noms) who left us this year. Blanka leapt from the top shelf of a factory farm to make sure she came home with @mbaxterwickham, and never looked back. Noms just loved to have a nap anywhere she was, even if that meant we all had to wait for her to open her eyes again. I hope wherever you two are, it’s warm, cosy and you can sleep all day. The current E17 team, Lauren, Ellie and Blessing are in bed for the night, ready to say hello to the new year and all it brings. Here’s to all the little lives we can save next year with the @britishhenwelfaretrust . Night night all x #freerangeeastlondon #hensofinstagram #exbatteryhens

Hola! Weekend workout outfits courtesy of @pelotonapparel & @lululemon - 🤩 Gotta be comfortable, and don’t mind rolling out a bright or fancy pattern ✨ Thanks to friends Ben & Mich for joining me on Friday! (He outdid me by wearing his Valencia Marathon Tee 😆)
Will be a very different story tomorrow where I have a 10 mile trail race in what the forecast seems to say is a monsoon 😩😂🧥🧤⛑️

I've had such a lovely day with my vegan gang. Thanks sooooo much @plantfaced.coffeeshop for fitting us all in for breakfast. It was so so delicious, everyone agreed, and it can't have been easy having us all at once. I've had some wonderful gifts from my friends too :) More of my three day birthday vegan food fest tomorrow on my actual birthday!

Did Riverside Parkrun with my Hackney Marshes OG crew. Proper lush.

To my north friends, I’m going to run Riverside (Chester-Le-Street) Parkrun every Saturday at 9. Come join. It’s a great vibe. Come play.

I love my vegan gurls. Having these beautiful people who understand how I feel and think is so valuable. Thanks for being such great friends.
And thanks to Fliss for having us in your special day and getting to dance and party, free of chicken poop!

If this chair could…

Talk... It would tell you about all the hopes and dreams that have been shared.
✨
Laugh... It would laugh out loud at the conversations that have had us in stitches!
✨
Cry... It would shed a tear for the sad news we have shared and hugged out.
✨
Listen... It would remember all the secrets we have told each other, your secrets are safe with me.
✨
This chair is so much more than a place where I do your hair. This is where we become friends.
✨
Thank you to everyone who has sat in my chair, helped me in my business and supported me across my social media platforms.
✨
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, thank you for a brilliant and memorable 2022.

Love Lottie x
