Thrilled to share this personal project I developed with cinematographer @alexjamin

SPHERE is a dance performance film built around a giant orbital light structure, a suspended metal sphere fitted with LED lights and conceived as a living installation.

Co-created by Alexandre Jamin and Steve Cameron , the structure becomes much more than a set piece: a source, an artificial moon, a world, a machine and a matrix.

At its centre, two dancers are caught in a magnetic choreography of attraction, desire and separation. They meet, seduce, pull apart and return to one another, as if drawn into orbit by a luminous force that creates, transforms and ultimately absorbs them.

The film explores magnetism in every sense: the pull between two bodies, the invisible forces of desire, and the larger cosmic forces that move tides, bodies, emotions and energy.

Blending dance, performance and light installation, SPHERE is both a standalone film and the first gesture toward a larger evolving installation — one that could unfold in other spaces, on a larger scale, with more dancers and new choreographic forms.

Big up to the amazing team who trusted us and joined us on this project 🙏🏻
