Still taking this one in. 🙏 A few months ago, this was just an empty space and a lot of ideas. Last week, it was full of friends, collaborators, clients and people who have been part of this journey in one way or another. To everyone who helped us turn this place into PRIMATE STUDIOS - THANK YOU! For every late night, every favour, every problem solved, every last-minute fix and every pair of hands that helped us get here. And to everyone who showed up for our opening - thank you for making the first night in our new home one we’ll remember forever. ❤️ This place was built by many. Now it’s ready for you. #filmstudio #videoproduction #primatestudios

What does it take to put a DJI R4D on a dirt bike and send it through the streets of Dubrovnik? In Part 1 of this two-part behind-the-scenes look at the Outer Banks Season 5 motorcycle chase, we break down the camera rigging and the challenges of building a system that can survive the abuse of a moving dirt bike. Filmed in and around Dubrovnik, Croatia, this sequence took some serious planning, rigging, and problem solving. The goal was to get the camera as close to the action as possible while keeping the rig secure, compact, and capable of handling the movement of the bike. We take a look at how we rigged the DJI R4D onto the motorcycle, the hardware and support systems involved, and what goes into preparing a camera rig for some seriously aggressive riding. And this was only the beginning… Part 2 takes us onto the walls and into the caves of Dubrovnik. 🏍️💨 #OuterBanks #OBX5 #OuterBanksSeason5 #Netflix #FilmGrip GripDepartment CameraRigging DJIRon4D DJIRonin4D CameraRig MotorcycleChase DirtBike BehindTheScenes BTS Filmmaking Cinematography FilmSet ProfessionalFilmmaking IndieFilmmaking Dubrovnik Croatia FilmProduction StuntRigging
