When it comes to cutting kids the word is PATIENCE 💈💡

READ FULL CAPTION BELOW 👇🏽

This haircut looked really simple because that's how I edited the video, but yes it was a SLIGHT struggle. That's normal when cutting kids but you just gotta be patient with them. It's a new experience for them and they might be uncomfortable.

Educating the parents goes a long way too cause a lot of parents have unrealistic expectations when it comes to haircuts. SOME barbers can cut it perfect no problem, others can't. Me personally, if it's a first cut and I see the kid is uncomfortable, I'm not giving them a perfect fade haircut with a sharp edge up. We'll work up to that over time once they get comfortable enough to sit still and relax. Also, the clippers are loud and they vibrate, that's why you saw me pull out the shears to cut some of the hair. And if you see the hair is harder to comb through, wet it and make it easier so it doesn't hurt the kid.

That's my advice on cutting kids, use it or not it's up to you.
