POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

February 21st is our first youth athlete training event of the year - Regional Simulation!

This championship-style mock competition gives athletes the chance to experience Regionals in the most realistic environment possible: at the official 2026 Region 61 host facility. Athletes will climb on Regionals-style boulders in a competition-style format, receive on-boulder coaching from our elite staff, and identify key trends, strengths, and growth areas ahead of the March event!

Registration is open! Check the link in our bio to sign up!

Started off strong and flashed our first 4 boulders… had some heart break 💔 on the red … and no go on the yellow… but came back strong on red and topped on the 4th attempt for 7th place.

“The highs were high and the lows were low.
…That was so much fun.” Eli. My dude.

A Route Setter at MBP told Eli if he really wanted to grow as a climber, he should compete in the Elite Category… knowing that we might by get our asses kicked… He took that advice. He was mentally prepared. And I wouldn’t say we were defeated by any means but there was definitely a challenge and definitely growth.

I am so proud of him for choosing to grow. I am so proud of him for being mentally strong, and I am so proud to see him cheer on his teammates and others while they have wins on the wall.

Plus, we always get tacos after.

Youth Festival weekend!
So glad I got to be a part of this experience. SO many psyched coaches and kiddos and even got to hang with a few of the @mbpclimbteam kids.

And with that… the 2025 USA Climbing Lead/TR Season is a wrap! Your Division 6 Championship Photos are now live!! Over 2300 pics are now available at https://www.senderpics.com, organized by day and session.

I want to personally thank this amazing Division for allowing me to capture these moments across both regions this season. It’s such honor to be among such an amazing community.

Huge thanks to the, RCs, route setters, volunteers, coaches, parents, VA staff and especially the athletes for an amazing event.

(Friendly reminder… Photo accreditation to @sender.pics is always appreciated.)

My standard disclaimer
I really do try my best to get as many photos of our athletes as possible. That said, if I missed anyone or if there are any photos that you’d like me to edit, please reach out and let me know - I included all “A-roll” and “B-roll” (and beyond) in hopes of getting everyone. Which also means many shots are made available that are FAR from ‘perfect’, but still want to get as many to you as possible.
Please feel free to download, and share! I truly hope you enjoy them!

All images are free to download at full resolution. Please look for the “down arrow” to download the full size images. Download, share, print at home, whatever you like. Enjoy!

If you intend on printing any of the phots, please give me a shout and I will optimize the editing for prints.
