I mean lol…. We basically spent the day together 😂😂😂 we ran into Auntie Viv and Big Sis Mickey at the end of our brunch and we shut the restaurant down 😂. Then we found each other again at the mall 🤷🏽‍♀️. It was just meant to be lol! We love y’all even more after today lol 😘😘😘.

Spending time with loved ones brings me so much joy. We had way too much fun and finally topped the night off binge watching Kingdom Business!💖#Mygirls #memorialdayweekend

I was talking to one of my pastors tonight and she said something #SuperDope about failure and success in ministry. She said it so fast that I might not get the quote all the way right (I tried to write it down real fast lol)…. But essentially, she said, “Often times we as pastors & leaders have an inaccurate view of what equates to failure and true success in #ministry. When pastors step down from leadership roles, bystanders often assume that they did something wrong. The #pastors themselves may even feel like they failed because things didn’t go as planned. However, God often repurposes those He calls… and He could very well be positioning those leaders for their greatest #success. It’s all a part of the preparation on our journey to whatever is next.”

Emmanuel and I were affirmed and re-ordained as pastors at Uncommon Church Charlotte yesterday… Not as the lead pastors (thank God 😜) but serving on the Executive Leadership Team. Wanna make that clear lol. We’ve still been processing and talking through the major significance of it all. Like it’s just so much to take in! We are honored to serve alongside such amazing leaders as Bishop Mitchel Blue, Pastor Dana M. Blue and other elders and ministers…. But even more so humbled to be entrusted with the responsibility to help lead and care for people, while also collectively stewarding an atmosphere that welcomes God’s abiding presence. That’s no light matter…
