ISA Rigger Certification in Ostrov, Czechia was challenging and beautiful. I underestimated the 8 hour drive alone and then we got absolutely smashed by a thunderstorm which delayed the entire assessment and put the whole thing at risk, but with some grit from participants and instructors, we were able to finish. We had loads of good conversations about how the Certifications can be improved for participants and instructors alike, happy to start actioning these ideas soon! it was an absolute pleasure to teach alongside @sedlacekerika 🇧🇷 @thefaithdickey 🇺🇸 and @slacklinerka 🇨🇿, three of the best highliners to have ever done it… For them to share their time with participants who are often just embarking on this journey, it was really cool to be a part of it. We were also had to pleasure of having @mr.chill.bear 🇬🇧, someone i‘ve learned from and been inspired by through videos and mutual friends for years, and again, humble as can be and can whip together a vegetarian dish that makes you think “what cant this man do?!“ The participants, mostly from Czech had a great attitude despite the thunderstorms, language challenges, and long long days of being assessed! Proud to be a part of the team of instructors 🙌🏽 ’Til the next one, probably Bounceland in December! Oh yeah and Ostrov is as magical as it gets, cant wait to spend time there one day!
