The dynamic duo ❤️❤️ you are looking at the Laferrari prototype test mule (disguised in a 458 chassis with body modifications strutting a v12 hybrid engine pushing right at 1000 horsepower ) along side the most beautiful result called the La Ferrari …… viewing them side by side gives me goose bumps.

An ultra-rare Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster transformed by the legendary German tuning house HDK, finished in the unmistakable shade of Wrigley Mint. Equal parts hypercar theatre and coachbuilt obsession, this Roadster takes the already outrageous SLR formula and pushes it into something far more menacing. The exposed carbon details, sharpened aero, and widened stance completely change the character of the car, giving it the presence of a Le Mans prototype disguised as a grand tourer.

Beneath the endless bonnet sits the hand-built supercharged 5.4L V8, delivering brutal torque with a soundtrack that remains one of the greatest in automotive history. Unlike modern turbocharged supercars that isolate the driver, the SLR still feels mechanical, violent, and alive. The side-exit exhausts erupt inches from the cabin, the long nose stretches endlessly ahead, and every input feels dramatic in a way few modern cars can replicate.

Finished in a color rarely seen on any SLR, let alone an HDK-converted example, this Wrigley Mint Roadster feels more like a one-off commission than a production car. It captures a specific era when Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive created something unapologetically excessive, and tuners like HDK took things even further. One of twelve ever produced, this is not simply rare, it is automotive insanity preserved in mint green carbon-fibre form.

1 of 12 in the world. A Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster finished in MSO Benzona Wrigley Mint, with 722 Edition inspired components and a license plate that tells you exactly what you are looking at.

The details on this one were never an afterthought.
