Performing “Pure Gold” with my soul writing brother @mc_callam is always such a joy. It’s nice not to be boo’d off stage occasionally!😂🌈🎯

Writing session with the great McCallam. The fabulous Ruth Lorenzo came to the studio and recorded a lovely version of our song when we took this pic. "Pure Gold" is being released on the new album (April '20)

Where do I start? Well first things first, this is going to be long so be prepared. I'm also not one for words or do well at explaining things but I shall do my best :) Yesterday I had the most amazing day of my lifetime :') it was seriously special. Oritsé and his team of people were ever so friendly and welcoming everyone was happy and chatted well, there wasn't one bit of awkwardness, I ended up arriving on set at 11am due to the nature of boat and train times from the Isle Of Wight... I was seriously nervous but excited, I happened to meet Oritsé outside, he came up to me, greeted me with words of 'hello darling' asked how I was and gave me a hug' I was shy and felt awkward as I was early and I thought he'd think of me as some sort of strange fan🙈😂i don't know... Anyways I was first greeted by Sean who eased us into things he was easy to chat to and talked about a lot of things from Oritsé to the job role he has himself, I found it interesting and wanted to know more so asked questions and Sean was happy to answer :) Next there was Alex he was cheery, cool and also easy to chat to, he made me feel comfortable between him and Sean my nerves soon went.

And then there was Simone... Well she helped me onset whilst shooting the video, told me when and where I needed to go in each shot... She then came to my rescue with the two other lovely first aiders(sorry I don't know your names) but you were cool and did a great job!

After a long day of travelling and the video shooting I became ill, I passed out and I just wanted to sing praises to Oritsé's team and the main man himself, Reesh left what he was doing to come and see if I was alright he talked to me for a while, spent time with me and made sure everything was sorted even said he'd pay for my travel expenses (of which I still don't expect or feel that he should have to) I honestly can't say I know any other famous person who would do what Oritsé has done for me that day! This is an experience that I'll never forget and I'd do it all over again even if it means the passing out bit too, I honestly wouldn't change that day for the world because everything and everyone come together when needed.
