This wedding will always hold such a special place in my heart. ✨

Michael and I have been friends since PT school, 13 years ago, so getting to be part of this day was already so special. Getting to design their wedding stationery and signage from 2,000 miles away and stand by their side as a bridesmaid made it that much more meaningful! 🤍

Michael officiated my wedding, and getting to be part of one of the biggest days of his life was such a full-circle moment. So grateful I got to play a small part in making their day feel like them!🥂

NEW FEATURE: Coming Out Through Three Films. I don’t write about myself very often, but this is probably the most personal thing I’ve published. For most of my life, movies were more than something I loved. Sometimes they gave me the language for things I wasn’t ready to say out loud yet.

Brokeback Mountain showed me what a life built around fear and hiding could cost. Eleven years later, Moonlight found me when I met the man who would eventually become my husband, and helped me understand that I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life hiding from everyone I loved. Then Call Me by Your Name came along after I was finally out and gave me something different: a reminder to let myself feel everything completely, even knowing that love and happiness can make us vulnerable to loss.

Three films. Three very different moments in my life. Looking back, they became a path from the person I was too afraid to be to the life I get to live now. I wrote about all three, and about what movies and representation can actually mean when the right story finds you at exactly the right moment.

Celebrating my brother-in-law, Titos Datuin, on his 65th birthday in Las Vegas, Nevada! 🎉🎂

What a wonderful way to mark this milestone—surrounded by the people who matter most, sharing laughter, stories, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Family is one of life’s greatest blessings, and this celebration was a beautiful reminder that the best moments are not measured by where we are, but by who we are with. As Titos said in his thank you speech, “I life well loved, is a life well lived!”

Happy 65th Birthday, Titos! Wishing you continued good health, happiness, and many more years of creating cherished memories with those you love. ❤️🎈🎊🎂🎁❤️
