Instagram Detox Recap Part 1/3 Fall 2025

Holy moly. I thought it would be simple to share some of the fun moments of life from this last year but as I reflect on where I left off while looking through my camera roll, I realize just how much has transpired…

Life happens fast and it’s easy to stay locked into looking at what you want to do next but in a way, this is what I appreciate about the original intention of this app. It’s a beautiful thing to stop and admire the little bits of time that brought me joy so that the picture I’m painting in my mind stays balanced, without getting overcast by all the “missing” elements.

Some context for this carousel:

- Paragliding is taking over my life.
- I was a cinematographer for an Arcteryx ski movie that somehow made it the 50th anniversary Banff Mountain Film Fest
- Drove down to Moab, Utaaaaw for a hinge date and started to dabble in water colour painting
- Im now apart of #TeamTaco
- Never enough firewood
- Once again, paragliding is taking over my life
