I planned to stay for one week and ended up staying for 5. And somehow, even five weeks didn’t feel like enough💗

Five weeks of early mornings and late nights. Five weeks of being exhausted but somehow still finding the energy to laugh until my stomach hurt. Five weeks of new friendships, ridiculous moments, conversations I didn’t know I needed, worship, prayer, growth, and getting to experience a kind of joy that’s really hard to explain until you’ve been here.

I came to serve campers, but they taught me more than I could have ever expected. They reminded me that joy doesn’t have to be complicated. That being fully yourself is something worth celebrating. That sometimes the moments that seem the smallest end up being the ones you remember the most.
