Moonlighters is all about the creation of art itself but regardless, the lineup for this year has been announced and we will be featuring some of the selections here in the coming days to give a hint at what to expect at the event! These are just a few of the pieces that will be featured.

We are SO excited to see all the work together on the big screen and the art and artists involved are the heart of this big wild experience.

Aug. 12, 7pm, Davis Theater, Chicago!
Some tickets still available! Link in bio!

Some snippets from this year’s projects big love and many thanks to all of you who have come along for them and worked with me on them ❤️

…lots more on the way for next year, and if I’m not making it to somewhere you want me to be, there’s a system in the mailer to add locations so I can try set up something closer by.

New music video for you - made from the anonymous quote “I Am In A Church In Gravesend Listening To Old Vinyl And Drinking Coffee”

I worked with a collection of your quotes, full of extremes of emotion, and in there amongst the chaos was this beautiful grounded everyday comment, “I’m in a Church In Gravesend Drinking Coffee”, which Michael McAfee has turned into an animated story built from the wider collection of quotes from where it came.

I Am In A Church In Gravesend Listening To Old Vinyl And Drinking Coffee

Watch the latest video project via my link in bio from the On Being project

I made a lot of music with the more extreme quotes from the database, but being has as much to do with the everyday and things being ok too, so this was just as relevant a quote and experience, and something I wanted to include.

Within the song, I decided to use the sounds of me walking through forest, which is my own equivalent of the idea I thought the quote was about, but I wanted to find some similarly grounded instrumental source as well.

I hope you enjoy something within there today, and there’s more delve into behind this project as we go along.

my new ep ‘minha vida - hope’ is out now 💖 this is the final chapter of a trilogy that I started back in 2022 where I decided to use each part to express different emotions that been very present in my life while exploring all the sounds that have been part of the holly universe in my past, present + future, with the this new ep being the glimpse of where I’m taking my art to next.

now it’s urs too <3 hope you like it

love,
holly

After 7 years, we’re explicitly asking for our community’s support this Thursday Nov. 14th 🥹🙏💗
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The community that welcomed us with open arms as the first coffee shop on Argyle, the community that has cheered us on, inspired us, learned with us, checked on us, asked about our day, cried and laughed with us, the community that gave us space to be vulnerable about our journey, the community that grew with us. We would not be here today without our *community*.
