This weekend was so incredibly special. 🤍 Chloe Holladay, you are truly one of the most beautiful souls. Not just beautiful outwardly, but beautiful in the way you love others, the way you carry yourself, your faith, your kindness, and the light you bring into every room you walk into. You are such an inspiration and such a blessing to so many. I’m proud to call you a second daughter and friend. 🥰 When I walked into the wedding house on Thursday to drop Roo off and saw you standing there in your bridal dinner dress, I completely lost my composure and started crying. You looked absolutely breathtaking. Even knowing it wasn’t your wedding gown yet, my heart was overwhelmed with happiness for you. It was one of those moments I will never forget. And just when I thought you couldn’t be any more beautiful and I wouldn’t cry again, watching you walk down the aisle in your stunning wedding dress proved me wrong. 🥰 Watching the love between you and Kulyn has been such a gift. The way he looks at you, protects you, honors you, and loves you so deeply is something truly special. I pray one day my daughter finds a love like the one you and Kulyn share. You deserve every ounce of happiness this life has to offer. We love you dearly, and I could not be more thankful to witness such a beautiful chapter in your lives. 🤍

I visited Santa’s workshop where the famous sew queen herself, Miss Mandie was hard at work with the @sewstoppers crew! I can’t wait to show everyone what this new costume looks like, but I couldn’t help but share this amazing moment! So thankful for all the hard work Sew Stoppers puts in every year to make the baton world sparkle!✨ - - - #newcostume #twirl #baton #batontwirling #twirlingbaton #batontwirler #twirling

The making of a Crimsonette. ❤️🐘 When I tell you it takes a village it truly does. I can’t thank my friends and family enough for supporting Rylie during this amazing and stressful journey. ❤️ She knew quite awhile ago that Alabama was where she wanted to attend and once she realized that it could happen she knew that’s where she wanted to try and twirl. I say try because it’s very competitive and a different style of twirling than she was used to. I don’t believe that she would have been able to even learn that or comprehend it without the help of her big “sister” Sophie. For those that don’t know Sophie has been an integral part of Rylies life for many many years through baton & pageants. Sophie is also a current Crimsonette. Sophie’s help spans from choreography to hair whips to so much more & when Rylie performed her routine for the second time on Saturday I saw just how much work both of them had done when I looked over and seen Sophie crying for her lil sis. 💗 Rylie put in hours and hours of work for months for that very moment and it showed! To my tribe….Mandie & Lindsay. Thanks so much for keeping me grounded and making me not have to use a card from my envelope this weekend 😉 You two are the best friends any girl would love to have and I’m so lucky to have you as mine. Carolyn, while I would say we have known each other for quite awhile it was so nice to get to know you better this trip and I’m so grateful to call you a friend. I look forward to more trips to UA. Thanks for all you have done💗 Jodi & Rhonda-Thanks so much for giving my girl the love of baton. It’s been an incredible ride and it’s not over yet. I appreciate you both so much. And Bob, well let’s be honest most of this wouldn’t have been possible without his love and support. He is definitely Rylies biggest fan. We are very lucky to have him in our lives. 💗 I’m sure I’m forgetting someone and if so I am sorry. Honestly my mind is still swirling. Thank you to everyone! #RollTide #dewleysenioryear

COSTUME REVEAL🐘❤️✨ This weekend was Crimsonette Auditions and I’m thrilled to say that I’m a 2022 UA Crimsonette! I’ve been twirling baton since I was 5 and always knew I wanted to be a college twirler. In the 6th grade, I fell in love with the University of Alabama and knew without seeing the campus that it was where I was meant to be. When I toured UA this past November, I fell even more in love with the Capstone (which I didn’t even think was possible!) I started dreaming of my audition costume from a young age and even had Pinterest boards to save costume ideas to. I showed some of these ideas to Mandie Causie, owner of Sew Stoppers and a member of my baton/UA family. After seeing my ideas, Mandie created a digital design of my costume, helped me choose fabrics and fringe, chose the perfect stones, and crafted my favorite costume to date. To say I’m in love with this costume is an understatement. I never want to take it off. Mandie, thank you SO much for making my wildest dreams of this costume come to life. I’m so thankful for you and love you endlessly! The final step in the process of creating my Crimsonette Audition costume has been completed; to wear my costume at auditions! In honor of waking up early for a competition today, I wanted to share the next and second to final step in my Crimsonette costume journey. This week I PICKED UP MY COSTUME! You heard it right!!! I am so, so, so excited about this costume. It is truly everything I wanted it to be and more. Mandie is a true artist when it comes to making, designing, and stoning costumes. She expertly picks out fabrics and stones that compliment one another and creates your vision seamlessly. I am in love with my costume and don’t want to take it off! As well as picking up my costume, I tried it on for the first time! We made a couple little adjustments and it was all set to go! Featured in this post are some of my reactions to trying on the costume for the first time. Needless to say, I’m in love! Stay tuned to see the reveal of my Crimsonette Audition Costume!!!❤️ Deposit ✅ Measurements ✅ Design ideas submitted ✅ Digital design received ✅ Approved fabrics ✅ Approved gems & stones ✅ Picked up costume, tried it on for the first time, and did final touches ✅ Last step: TO WEAR MY COSTUME AT AUDITIONS!!! - #MissMichiganOT #MissAmericaOT #missmichiganoutstandingteen #missamericasoutstandingteen #startheartsmart #mmiot #maoteen #maot #missamerica #missa #alabama #crimsonette #uofalabama #universityofalabama #ua #wherelegendsaremade #scholarship #uacrimsonette #milliondollarband #marchingband #sewstoppers
