Planning a theatrical show in a humid, grimy old basement, pretending we’re already there and believing it.

And every new opportunity & every person who gives us one makes it a little easier to believe.

That’s why we put so much into this. The guys in this band inspire each other. Engineers like Preston are willing to work with us and help bring these stupid ideas to life. Venues like @playarcade have given the various bands I’ve been part of a place to come up, learn, and get better. And every person who shows up gives us a reason to bring it even harder the next time.

So yeah… we’re putting everything we’ve got into this Halloween show.

🎃 THIS IS NOT A DRILL. 👽

Kidnap The Martian and friends are taking over Play Arcade on October 24th at 9PM for a night of original music, questionable decisions, costumes, and probably a decent amount of alcohol. 💀

Come dressed like something you’d be embarrassed to explain to a cop.

LIVE SOUND SEASON 2026 | WEEK 13 | 30-SECOND RECAP 🎤⚡

This week was one we’ll never forget as the RPRC LIVE team joined forces with our brothers at Short Wave Recording Co. to manage The Foundation Stage at the legendary Newport Folk Festival! 🎉 Three incredible days of music, unforgettable performances, and the opportunity to mix sound for some absolute legends made this a career highlight for our crew.

As if that wasn’t enough, Saturday night took an unexpected turn when we were invited to run sound for a private after-hours jam in Newport featuring several of the festival’s headlining musicians as they traded songs and stories with their peers. Safe to say... Hayley Williams is every bit as kind as you’d hope she is. 🤘

While Folk Festival kept us busy Friday through Sunday, our team also delivered production for two Flipside weddings and another incredible celebration with Boss Band and Closing Time! As well as an event with Vicky Lynch and her incredibly talented band! Another massive weekend in the books thanks to an incredible team that continues to raise the bar every single week. 💪

Now it’s time for Week 14, and we’re heading right back to Newport to team up with Short Wave Recording Co. once again for the Newport Jazz Festival, alongside another packed weekend of weddings and live events. 👀

LIVE SOUND SEASON 2026 | WEEK 12 | 30-SECOND RECAP 🎤⚡️

This week marked another milestone for the RPRC LIVE team as we welcomed The Hub to the family! 🎉 We had an incredible first production together while also heading north with The 1999 for a show in New Hampshire.

The crew stayed busy all weekend with two Flipside productions and a DJ event at one of Newport’s most exclusive beach clubs. From packed dance floors to elegant waterfront venues, every show ran smoothly thanks to another outstanding weekend from our engineers. 💪

Now it’s time for Week 13, and things are about to get exciting. We’ll be kicking off Newport Folk Festival as the production team managing the Foundation Stage, alongside another busy weekend of live events. 👀

LIVE SOUND SEASON 2026 | WEEK 11 | 30-SECOND RECAP 🎤⚡️

This week took our crew through some of New England’s most iconic venues. 🏛️ We had the pleasure of working at the breathtaking Marble House in Newport, Rhode Island—featured in several scenes of *The Great Gatsby* starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Marble House wasn’t the only historic estate on the schedule either. We were also at the beautiful Crane Estate in Ipswich, Massachusetts with our friends in Boss Band.

The weekend continued with two productions alongside Redline, a show with Flipside, and another back in Newport at Castle Hill with The Honky Tonk Knights. As well as a show with Closing Time in NH! From Gilded Age mansions to oceanside venues, our engineers kept the productions rolling all weekend long. 💪

Now it’s time for Week 12! We’re excited to welcome a new band, The Hub, to the RPRC Live family, we’ll be on Ocean Drive in Newport for a DJ production, and The 1999 is back on the schedule with a show in New Hampshire. Let the momentum continue! 🚛🎶

LIVE SOUND SEASON 2026 | WEEK 10 | 30-SECOND RECAP 🎤⚡️

The 4th of July weekend kept the crew moving all over New England. 🇺🇸 Fireworks lit the skies above our engineers in Newport, RI and New Hampshire as we powered a packed weekend of holiday productions.

Mother Nature made sure it wasn’t easy, though. Rain rolled in throughout the weekend, forcing plenty of on-the-fly problem solving, quick adjustments, and backup plans. But that’s what this team does best. No matter what the forecast threw at us, every production was delivered successfully and our crew got it done. 💪

Now it’s time to roll into Week 11 with Boss Band, Flipside, Redline, Closing Time, Anchor Band, and more. Let’s keep the momentum going! 🚛🎶#livesound #audioengineer #concertproduction #foh #liveaudio

**LIVE SOUND SEASON 2026 | WEEK 9 | 30-SECOND RECAP 🎤⚡️**

Another weekend, another map full of pins. 📍🎤

This week our crews spread out across New England, supporting events in **northern Vermont** with **Redline**, **Maine** with **Boss Band**, **Connecticut** with **Flipside**, and **Quincy, Massachusetts** with **The 1999**—all happening simultaneously. 🚐⚡️

It takes a tremendous amount of planning, preparation, and teamwork to have multiple crews executing events hundreds of miles apart at the same time, and we’re proud to say every show went off without a hitch. More importantly, every engineer traveled safely and delivered another weekend of exceptional events for our clients. 👏🎚️

There’s not much time to catch our breath, though. Fourth of July weekend is here, and it’s one of the busiest stretches of our season. 🇺🇸🎆

This weekend we’ll have crews heading to **New Hampshire**, **Fort Adams in Newport, Rhode Island**, **Narragansett**, and **Maine** as we keep live music rolling all across New England.

On to Week 10! 💪🎶

LIVE SOUND SEASON 2026 | WEEK 8 | 30-SECOND RECAP 🎤⚡️

Some weekends test your systems. This one tested everything.

Week 8 was officially a company record, with an incredible **9 shows happening in a single day on Saturday**. From early load-ins to late-night load-outs, our crews spread across New England and somehow pulled off the busiest day in Railroad Park Recording history. 🚐💨

The weekend kicked off with two shows on Friday before Saturday’s record-breaking push. Multiple crews, multiple stages, and a whole lot of moving parts—but this year’s team continues to prove just how sharp they are. Every show was executed professionally, every challenge was handled, and every client got the level of service we’ve built our reputation on. 👏

Just when we thought the weekend was winding down, a last-minute Sunday show with Vicky Lynch became the perfect cherry on top to cap off an unforgettable week. 🍒🎶

We’re incredibly proud of this crew. Setting records is exciting, but what matters most is how our team showed up, stayed focused, and delivered under pressure.

Next week, we’re back on the road with shows across **Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, and of course right here in Massachusetts.** The miles keep adding up, and we’re just getting started.

On to Week 9.
