2024 Recap #1: Q1 2024 was a season of growth, gratitude, and purpose! 🌟
•
From becoming a P2P mentor with a quick orientation in Sacramento, to supporting my Bestie Amanda through her surgery as 'Nurse Des,' to intentionally spending family time, every moment was filled with care and connection.
•
I prioritized wellness by joining a weight-loss challenge, embracing a mental health group, and balancing it all with music, food, gym sessions, my birth and chosen family, and work. 🎶💪✨
•
I also had the honor of interviewing for the DE Coordinator role at my new job, celebrating sisterhood at the Black Women's Appreciation Brunch, and of course, making unforgettable memories for BJ's 6th birthday! 🥳🎂
•
Cheers to a fulfilling start to 2024! Part ✌🏽 coming tomorrow....

BLM will always be more than a movement, here we have an opportunity to educate one another on the topics of police brutality, civil rights, economic inequality, political corruption - these are issues that affect us all. The answer is not violence but education, coordination & unity. We have a democracy for a reason, use it or it will use you.
