A massive THANK YOU to everyone who participated in Limerick Mental Health Week 2026! We had over 32 events running over the course of the week and something for all ages, abilities and interests. 🙏 We hope you enjoyed the events and that you took home a small message of hope, connection and wellbeing ✨️ It was a privilege to meet so many new people, to be able to provide information on our services and other supports within Limerick. We all have a mental health and it is so important that we take care of it! 🩵 To the agencies of Limerick, we couldn't have done this without you and we are so grateful for the support received from all! To our staff and Volunteers who worked tirelessly in preparation and execution of this fantastic week, we cannot put into words how grateful we are of your hard work, support and genuine care for the work of Limerick Mental Health Association 💕 As always, if anyone needs mental health supports, all are welcome to avail of LMHA services, or talk to a trusted adult Thank you to @boldmotionstudios for photographing the Choral union evening in St. Johns and the ICO youth performance in the Cresent. #LMHW2026 #LMHA

🚶‍♀️💬 Walk & Talk Week Ambassador Announcement! We're delighted to welcome Jackie McCarthy O'Brien as a Narrative 4 Walk & Talk Week Ambassador! Jacqueline "Jackie" McCarthy O'Brien (@mccarthyjackie) is a former Irish International and rugby player. She played forward for Republic of Ireland women's national football team. McCarthy O'Brien represented Ireland 13 times each in soccer and rugby. She was the country's first mixed-race player in both games. This October, schools across Ireland will be taking part in Walk & Talk Week, celebrating the power of connection, listening, and empathy through conversation and movement. And here's the exciting part... Jackie could be dropping into a participating school on the day 👀 Will it be yours? You'll have to wait and see! Stay tuned for more ambassador announcements and get ready to Walk & Talk!

FROM IRELAND 🇮🇪 TO NEW JERSEY 🇺🇸 FOR A COVER-UP. When somebody crosses an ocean and puts their skin in your hands, you understand that trust traveled a long way to reach you. Former Irish women’s soccer & rugby champion & author Jackie McCarthy O’Brien @mccarthyjackie flew in from Ireland to get tattooed by me and the mission was to give an old piece an entirely new life. What was once faded and difficult to read became Bob Marley a portrait built over the past without allowing the past to control the final picture. And there’s something deeper about that. “You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.” widely attributed to Bob Marley A cover-up is more than hiding old ink. Sometimes it’s proof that what was written before doesn’t have to be how the story ends. Same skin. Different chapter. Stronger story. Ireland ➡️ New Jersey. 🌍✈️ If my work can bring somebody across the Atlantic, distance isn’t an excuse. I TRAVEL TOO. Whether you come to me or I bring the vision to you, let’s create something worth carrying. 📩 DM to book | Deposits secure appointments Make your vision a reality. @mccarthyjackie HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY “THE PAST DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THE FINAL PICTURE.” #ink #BobMarleyTattoo #CoverUpTattoo #InternationalTattooArtist #ireland
