2025 - the year in which I became a mumma. In which I learned I’m stronger than I ever thought I was and in which I discovered a version of myself that I didn’t know existed. Delilah, thank you for the magic of your first smiles, your first giggles, for the excitement of seeing you discover the world, and for unconditional love. The year I became a mama! Grateful for my body for growing, feeding and holding baby girl, for the midnight sillies, shared yawns and endless love from Shaun, the weekly home cooked dinners at friends, facetimes from different states, holidays that go too quick, watching strength and resilience from my loved ones, handmade gifts, nights that feel like I’ve laughed for 8hrs straight and for the ones that felt like I didnt sleep at all, for the milky smiles, asking chatgpt ‘is this normal’ and for learning how much love can be found in the smallest of hearts 💟
