You probably recognize @jabarisandifer by now. Aside from being a friend of the brand and the face of our recent Chicago shoot, he’s been a resident of the city for nearly a decade and a familiar figure in Chicago’s menswear world. So when it came time to put together a guide to one of our favorite cities, he was an easy call. Swipe through for a few of Jabari’s go-to spots. And if you’re in the city, stop by our store on Armitage Ave. and we’ll point you to a few more places.

Lunch in Chinatown at MCCB! We got a lot of yummy things to share, starting with the dry chili chicken. This dish was super tasty and the flavor was great, but I do wish it was a little saucier. We also got the spicy dumplings and green beans. The green beans were AMAZING! I could’ve eaten the whole plate. The dumplings were also great, and the spicy chili sauce on them had the perfect kick! We also got the honey black pepper beef short ribs. The flavor on this dish was my favorite, but I wish we would’ve gotten a different protein. The short ribs were still great, but the meat wasn’t as tender as I would’ve liked. Lastly, we got the crab Rangoon and the Dan Dan noodles. The crab Rangoon was good! I’ve had better, but it was still a good dish. The Dan Dan noodles were great and full of flavor with the sauce and meat. Definitely recommend coming here and trying a lot of things with a large group!

Check out some of my favorite places in Chinatown! Follow @yourhungrygirlguide for more ⭐️ #explorepages #chicagofoodie #chicagofoodscene #mccb #chinatown Save this guide for your next trip! Worth it, worth it, worth it! Everyone I take here comes back to bring their own people. The gift that keeps on giving. Very limited seating inside. Steal my order from @mccbchicago ⭐️Honey Black Pepper Flank Steak ⭐️Chengdu Wontons ⭐️Garlic Strings Beans ⭐️Chicken Eggrolls Available only on weekends. Orange is my favorite. It’s so juicy and sweet. The crunch on the outside goes perfectly with the soft, juicy orange. Omg. Did I mention the juice?! 😂 @ichibansnacks_chicago Great portions. Great flavors! GG’s favorites from @stringsramen ⭐️Hell Ramen Lvl 2 ⭐️Sichuan Style Gyukotsu ⭐️ Shrimp Dumplings With a vast pastry selection, Tous Les Jours doesn’t disappoint. You’re guaranteed to find something you like. Nice bakery to bring friends and chill. GG’s fave from @touslesjoursusa ⭐️Portuguese Egg Tart Tried & true. 10/10 would recommend. I go here almost every time I visit chinatown. Sometimes I change up the flavors but I tend to get the same one every time. GG’s favorite from @joyyeenoodle ⭐️Triple Berry Fruit Freeze w/ double strawberry popping boba I didn’t know I liked Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken until I had it. Very worth it! Comes in a couple different flavors. GG’s favorite from @chunkybosschicago ⭐️ Spicy Popcorn Chicken w/ Mango Sauce Would you visit any of these places? Are any of them already on your bucket list? Tell me below! Tag who you’re going to take with you on your next visit to Chinatown!
