Part 1. A trip to the holy lands.

I have done many trips in my fishing career. It is tough to get every piece to fall into place. Camp spots. Fish. Weather. Flies. Gear. Location. Zone. Dry or wet. Close or far. The variables are endless.

This trip hit it all. You couldnt line it up any better.

What a fucking trip boys

GET BACK IN THERE!

Sometimes you drive thousands of kilometers just to get your ass kicked #steelhead

As fisherman, especially steelhead, when we lose a fish we always say "what did I do wrong?" But sometimes you do it all right and thats the way she goes.

Gear you can trust in, tight knots, good net guy, and a chance at a fish, thats all we can ask for.

Steelheading requires some trust. Trust in your gear, trust in your instincts and trust your buddy is going to scoop the fish.

We can take care of one of the three #steelhead

Carbon Fibre reels, handmade in Vancouver Canada.

The Slash 7/8 is a workhorse, a reel you can trust on your biggest fish. At 100 grams, it keeps you in the zone all day while you wait for that fish.

Smooth drag you can count on and impact resistance you cant beat. #flyreel

What a season man. The winter to spring transition is just all time. Such a battle in the elements, chasing fish that dont exist. A mental fortifying.

Thanks to everyone Who made spring steel such a sick time. Bunch of new faces, crisp hand shakes, a couple first steelies, some river dunks, some big doinks and some great scenery.

Chased a lot of new water this year. Until next season 🫡⛺️💨
