🖤 Remembering Tim Curry: 1946–2026

The entertainment world is mourning the loss of legendary actor and performer Tim Curry, who has died at the age of 80.

For more than five decades, Curry brought unforgettable characters to life across film, television, theater and voice acting. He became a cultural icon with his legendary performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a role that helped turn the film into one of the most enduring cult classics of all time.

His incredible career also included memorable performances as Wadsworth in Clue, the terrifying Pennywise in Stephen King’s It, Rooster in Annie and the unforgettable hotel concierge Mr. Hector in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. He also appeared in Muppet Treasure Island and lent his unmistakable voice to countless animated shows, movies and video games.

Curry suffered a major stroke in 2012 that left him using a wheelchair, but he continued working as a voice actor and remained connected with his fans through appearances and special events.

With his unmistakable voice, extraordinary range and one-of-a-kind presence, Tim Curry created characters that generations of fans will never forget.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues and the millions of fans who grew up loving his work.

Rest in peace, Tim Curry. 🖤 1946–2026

💔 Remembering Dolly Parton: 1946–2026

Today, the world says goodbye to a true legend.

Country music icon Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80. She died peacefully Tuesday, August 25, in Nashville after reportedly being hospitalized days earlier amid recent health challenges.

Dolly was far more than a country music star. She was a gifted songwriter, entertainer, actress, businesswoman and philanthropist who brought joy to generations around the world.

Born in rural Tennessee in 1946, Dolly rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most beloved entertainers in history. Her timeless songs included “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” “Coat of Many Colors,” “Here You Come Again” and “I Will Always Love You.” She sold more than 100 million records worldwide and earned 11 Grammy Awards.

Her impact extended beyond music through movies including 9 to 5 and Steel Magnolias, Dollywood, and inductions into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

One of her greatest legacies was Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which has provided hundreds of millions of books to children. She also supported education, disaster relief, medical research and countless charitable causes.

Dolly’s husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, died in March 2025, a loss she spoke openly about while continuing to create and inspire.

Today, fans and fellow artists around the world are remembering the unmistakable voice, humor, kindness and heart behind the rhinestones.

Thank you for the music, Dolly. Thank you for the memories. Your light will continue to shine. ❤️

Rest in peace, Dolly Parton.
