Faith opens the door. Discipline keeps you in the room. 👑

We love talking about what God has done for us. The doors He’s opened. The battles He’s fought. The things He’s delivered us from.

But here’s something I’ve had to learn through my own journey:

Just because God opened the door doesn’t mean I was prepared to handle what was on the other side.

I’ve prayed for opportunities I wasn’t disciplined enough to manage. I’ve asked God for growth while resisting the habits that growth required. I’ve experienced His grace and still found myself struggling with consistency.

And somewhere along the way, I realized that I couldn’t keep asking God to change my circumstances while refusing to let Him change my patterns.

Faith is essential. Grace is necessary. But discipline matters too.

Because the goal isn’t simply to experience a breakthrough. The goal is to become the kind of man who can faithfully steward what God has entrusted to him.

That’s part of the heart behind my forthcoming book, When the Miracle Is Over.

This isn’t me writing from a place of perfection. This is me writing from a place of experience, accountability, and a continued commitment to becoming better.

The miracle may get your attention.

But what you do after the miracle matters.

WHO YOU COMING AS? 🎃⚡️
The Halloween energy is already hitting different. Classic cartoon vibes, comic-book heat, and that NYC skyline energy under the full moon.

Halloween on 23rd Street is the Cartoon Comeback Yacht Party — and the costumes are the main event.

Thursday, October 29
Harbor Lights Yacht | Sky Port Marina
2430 23rd St & FDR Drive, NYC

Classic cartoon characters. Costume party energy. Fashion show vibes. Table service.

Music by @whoislegend @Dj_MikeNeezy. Vendors. Artist showcase. The whole yacht lit up.

So tell us…
Who you coming as?
Catwoman? That white-haired storm energy? Jessica Rabbit realness? Full vampire glam? Or something even wilder?

Drop your costume idea in the comments. Tag your crew. And lock in your spot before the good tables and the best energy are gone.

Tickets (2-for-1 still up): HalloweenOn23rdSt.com / PopUpShopOnaYacht.com

Don’t just show up. Show out.

You prayed for the breakthrough. How will you live once it comes?

There comes a point when we have to examine our habits, take responsibility for our choices, and become consistent in what God has called us to do—even when the excitement wears off.

My forthcoming book, When the Miracle Is Over: The Discipline Every Kingdom Man Needs to Finish Well, challenges men to embrace that work. To grow in faith, live with intention, and build a life that reflects the grace we’ve received.

Delivered by grace. Shaped by discipline. Defined by purpose.

Releasing December 18th.
Preorders are available now on Apple Books, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.

Reserve your copy today, and share this with a man who is ready to grow. We have families to lead, purpose to walk in, and a responsibility to finish well.

KINGDOM OVER CULTURE.

This is bigger than a book title.
Bigger than merchandise.
Bigger than a tagline.

It’s a decision about who gets the final word.

Culture will tell you what to chase, what to value, who to become, and even what parts of your convictions you should compromise to fit in.

But Kingdom says there is another standard.

I’m learning that following Jesus isn’t about escaping culture—it’s about refusing to let culture govern what belongs to God.

My mind.
My identity.
My marriage.
My family.
My purpose.
My convictions.
My influence.

Kingdom Over Culture is the message I’m writing, the life I’m pursuing, and the standard I want to leave behind.

Not perfection.
Not performance.
Alignment.

Because eventually, every one of us has to answer the question:

Who gets the final word?

KINGDOM OVER CULTURE
Coming 2027.
