Cannes Lions 2026 So many things made this one special, and an experience that will stay with me for a long time to come. Not just the people, the music, the conversations, or that glass of Rosé by the sea. It was the ideas. Three talks in particular kept circling a common theme from different directions... People remember how something made them feel far longer than any strand of data or storyline. As AI makes creation ever easier, authenticity and human creativity become even more valuable. Taste becomes so important in an age where everyone can make almost anything. The real value isn't in making more.  It's in knowing what's worth making. ... by understanding people. ... designing experiences that truly resonate. ... and choosing the ideas that deserve to exist. A huge thank you to everyone I met, faces old and new, who, beyond a handshake and a smile, stuck around long enough to introduce yourselves, share your ideas, challenge assumptions or just remind me why this industry is a privilege to be part of. Snaps from my cycle from Italy to France over eight days with the Fireflies to raise funds for cancer research. A total of 700 miles / 1000 km with 70,000 ft elevation. We raised over £100,000 for The Blood Fund at Imperial Heath Charity :) This was pretty tough and almost surreal at times but surrounded by these wonderful riders, you are propelled forward and just keep pedaling.
