Exit with grace .
The world is now a global village and the industry you play in even smaller.

We need people and relationships are a currency nothing can buy you. Treat each with sincerity and respect and if it’s not currently working take a bow and step away .

It is wise to not burn down a house because they refused you entry (or so I hear 😊)

Over a decade I have learned (through my career) that “this is nice” as a feedback to a design is as bad as the client knocking your sketchbook or iPad to the ground, demanding a refund and storming out of the room, cursing at the roof all the way to their means of transportation.
A little dramatic?
I agree but stay with Me.

Why stop at nice when you can create for your client the most beautiful dress she has seen….. have her teary and dabbing at her eyes with a napkin as she reaches out to hold your hand for support.
More drama?
But this should be the goal.

Designing dresses/clothes was never about just fabric and buttons but moments, dreams and timeless memories that will be looked back on with the same warmth and teary eyes as the day they stepped into your masterpiece.

This is Why We Design .
This is what We Create.
This is how we add color to the world.

The First Bridal Saqi we ever illustrated.🌹✨

Every detail placed to convey a message, represent culture and embody expression.

The designer contracted us to visualize her vision and I must say it was an exquisite experience.

We got front row seats at experiencing the cultural nuances, style and perspective of the Hausa people of Northern Nigeria and it was a beautiful and eye opening interaction.

Grateful for these experiences @mcgrath.creative
