Bittersweet end to an amazing week in Opelika, Alabama… This was my first time in the area and it certainly won’t be the last! Huge shoutout to @jonathanbell2 and @codyspence_v1 for getting me and Kona an epic spot to camp for the week, southern hospitality at its finest! Doesn’t get better than farmland with some big ol Longhorns! Plenty of room to ride my bike too. Another big shoutout to @mcgufbd for braving the weather and walking both rounds yesterday, it was great meeting you! I had a solid week of practice and was feeling good going into the event, with minimal expectations. Through the first 2 rounds, I was hanging just outside of the lead card so final day I really wanted to push for a podium finish. Unfortunately, my putt went completely awol. Gone. 11 missed putts from C1…pretty disgusting. The positives? I committed to some forehand shots throughout the weekend that I am really proud of. Gives me momentum going forward. I felt like I threw my discs pretty darn well, I’m really starting to dial the discs in and know how they’ll fly. The @discraftdiscgolf Sled was without a doubt my most valuable disc this week. It’s so good 🛷 DGPT season kicks off in Florida in 5 days….time to put some work in on the green! @discraftdiscgolf @resistancediscs
