What a gift it is to have people in your life who love to celebrate you.

If you know me, you know I’m not exactly a birthday person. So when a gaggle of beautiful humans got together this year and conspired to throw me a party, spearheaded by my crazy, beautiful, amazing partner I was equal parts GAGGED, taken back, and so incredibly loved.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully thank them for the gift of being surrounded by so many people I love, all at once. There’s something so magical about looking around a space and realizing just how lucky you are.

Year 30 has brought more blessings than I could ever begin to put into words, and this was the sweetest reminder of all.

Here’s to another trip around the sun and to the people who make the journey so beautiful. 🖤✨

It’s been 3 months since I closed such an exhilarating chapter in my life. I will never have words to describe this journey, but I’m so grateful for the memories!

Some of my most frequently asked questions are: Do you miss tour? Are you glad to be back in NY? Would you do MJ again? Aren’t you sick of traveling? To all I answer YES haha!! BUT I wouldn’t have it any other way. MJ is forever woven into the fabric of my life and I’m grateful for the experiences and opportunities I have been allotted.

What I miss most of all is the people…but good thing I get to keep them forever and ever! What a thrilling and blessed adventure this has been. I am filled to the brim 🩷

MJ The Musical First National Tour has been closed for 3 weeks now and the words I have in my heart to fully express the joy and depth of emotion I feel about my time there have only just now started to process….

At this point in my career I’m never enamored by the job or the prestige that comes with gracing the world stage (although being a part of a Broadway production at this point in my life had hardly crossed my mind, and I have to say what a challenging experience and wild rollercoaster ride it was). Show Biz is work…constant life altering, emotion rending, knowledge gaining, spirit opening work. Things you thought you knew about yourself, about people, about life will cease to be relevant, or come to define you. If you find yourself lucky enough to do that work w a completely unhinged group of people that challenge you, love you, test you, make you laugh, cry, think, gasp in awe?… you should count yourself truly blessed.

I’m forever grateful for my time on this show and w these people. Keep shining friends I love you ❤️
