Tried to take Sherlock to Renfest yesterday. He got about a football field length from the car, would no longer walked and laid down under a truck in the shade to nap. Jeremy had to carry him to the gate, because he also refused to ride in the wagon aI brought! Also fyi, your dog must be 6 months to go to Renfest lol try again next year!

I've been going to conventions since 2012 and there have only been two years where I only went to one convention (2020 and 2021 for obvious reasons), but if there's one certainty about going to conventions, then it's this: you'll ALWAYS find new people to meet. It amazes me (no pun intended) to see how many new people I encounter at conventions and it's more shocking for it to happen at the Donald Stephens Convention Center since it's a lot smaller than McCormick Place. Day 1 was the chillest day of the convention (as always), so finding new people would've been a difficult task, but as fate would have it, I've found some new cosplayers and for this post, it's all the new cosplayers I encountered on Day 1 of Fan Expo Chicago 2026. We have our fair share of Marvel (specifically, Spidey!), DC, a little bit of Mortal Kombat and a wrestling legend and hall of famer. With the Spideys, as expected, the popular suit was the Fresh Start/Brand New Day suit and I've seen multiple variants of that cosplay; so much so that I had to limit the amount of Fresh Start/Brand New Day cosplays I took a picture with and I had to do that all weekend. It was nice to see Mortal Kombat getting some cosplay love, so I'd take every opportunity I could get. I could say some more stuff, but 2,200 characters won't allow me to, so I'll thank every cosplayer on the photos for taking a photo with me or allowing me to take photos of them; I hope we get to do it again at either C2E2 or Anime Central (ACen) next year since those two conventions are two weeks apart from each other! Michigan Renaissance Festival 2022. The concept was what if time travellers left their highly advanced smartphone on a medieval world. Part 1/15. It was one of my favorite events because I was able to film over many weekends. No rushing. The outdoor heat and parking can be an issue though. On target for day three at #motorcitycomiccon2025 The highlight was seeing #steveenglehart again. I met him about 10 years ago in Cincinnati and had him sign #defenders issue 1. This time around I had him sign 9. This is a pivotal issue in the epic clash between the Avengers and Defenders. I read these comics over and over as a kid! We had such a great time up here. Thanks to everyone we met over the weekend who took the time for a pic or to chat with us. It was so good seeing mutuals this time around (making up for missing y'all in May) and as usual, this was one of the best, if not the best Con of 2025. Thank you! 🏹🗡️🏹🗡️ #clintbarton #hawkeye #hawkeyeseries #marvelcosplay #marvelcomics #avengers #avengerscosplay #cosplay #cosplayer #marvel #supermancosplay #cosplayersofinstagram #cosplayover40 #hawkeyecosplay #superman #dccomics #ohiocosplayer #cincinnaticosplayer #dccosplay #snakeeyescosplay #mrt #comicbooks #joker #jokercosplay #captainamerica #wintersoldier #40kcosplay
