15 years of my life I have been an all star cheerleader, pretty much since I could walk. I was lucky enough to have spent all of those years at the same gym, around the same coaches and same friends creating a bond with some of them that I wouldn’t trade for the world. At first cheer was just a fun sport but as I got older it slowly started to become one of the best support systems I had and it got me through some of my toughest times. It didn’t matter if I had a hard day or a hard week, I knew when I had practice I would forget about it all once I walked in the gym; it became one of the places I was the most happy. I have learned so many life lessons from my coaches, who I will forever thank, throughout the years that I now apply to everything I do. I’ll never forget the first time I walked into Fame Allstars as a little kid, only being there because my sister wanted to join, standing on my tippy toes at the first window in the lobby looking into the gym and seeing finale doing baskets on one of the floors and thinking “I wanna do that”, not knowing years later I’d be on finale doing those same things I saw them doing. I will never forget the friends I made being an allstar cheerleader and nothing could ever replace the memories I made with them. The feeling you get before you hit the mat at a competition with some of your best friends and the trust you form with them is something I don’t think I will ever be able to find again and I am so thankful I was able to experience that. I will forever love cheerleading and nothing can ever change that and I am so grateful I was able to be a cheerleader. Although I wish I could do it forever and it hurts my heart knowing its over, I know it’s time for my next chapter🧑‍🚒.
