I’m a few days late because to say the last week has been extremely busy is an understatement!! Nonetheless, I am still sooo extremely proud of my daughter, Myah Pollard for accomplishing her first goal of receiving her Bachelor’s of Health Studies with a Concentration in Health Science degree from the University of Memphis!! She has worked extremely hard. The road has not been easy but worth it!! Thank you to all my dear friends and family who have supported her and us over the years in so many different capacities, it truly takes a village and we are beyond thankful and blessed! We had an awesome weekend celebrating let the next chapter begin!!!🙌🏼🙌🏼🎉🎉💙🤍❤️

Yesterday after laying my cousin to rest, we visited the grave of my grandparents and niece. This is the first time I’ve seen her head stone. She would’ve been 21 this year. God is perfect in all His ways. He knew what was best. In 1999, He took 3 of our loved ones to make room for this vibrant, beautiful young lady @mckenseyy__ . Although we loved Maya and would’ve loved to have known her, God loved her best. I know Grandma was all too happy to have the honor of welcoming her into His kingdom.

Today was all about family. Got up, went to church, hubby surprised me with one of my favorite brunch spots Kitchen Notes, and had an afternoon nap with the kids piled in the bed with me. Later, my niece comes to spend time with me and we spontaneously decide to go see Aladdin!!! So much fun!!! #birthdaybehavior #thisis40
