Dear high school volleyball, I will forever be grateful for the past 4 years. Nothing made me more excited than school ball. Every moment that I have experienced all the way from the funny van rides to the adrenaline rushing game wins, are truly moments I feel extremely blessed in. Being surrounded by amazing teammates and coaches is something not everyone gets to experience during their high school years. Although TKA hasn’t been “top of the leaderboard” in the past, I know that I can confidently say I left a positive impact on the legacy of The Kings Academy volleyball program. Although each year has been amazing, I have to say that nothing comes close to senior year. I didn’t know what to expect going into senior year with new coaches and a ton of upcoming freshman, I was excited but nervous. I never would have expected the outcome of this season. I’ve never felt more team chemistry than I have this year, my teammates encouraged me when I wasn’t playing to my full potential and absolutely went crazy when I did play to my full potential. Being on the court with the 5 other girls felt easy bc I knew I could go up to any of them after a point and they’d encourage me. This year we beat teams who honestly no one thought we’d beat and we did. That wasn’t just luck that was the Saturday practices no one saw, the after the game locker room talks no one saw, the summer practices no one saw. My coaches said they really wanted to focus on making the seniors have a great, memorable senior year and they did just that. 💜#senioryear #year4
