This summer, LOHS senior Kenzie Park turned her talent into a powerful force for good—hosting an art show that raised over $20,000 for Sequence Me Now, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing cancer treatment through genetic sequencing.

Held in honor of two loved ones lost to cancer, the event was more than a gallery—it was a night of remembrance, healing, and hope. Her Africa-inspired collection, prints, and a surprise tribute painting brought the room to tears and united a community around a cause that touches so many.

“I may not be a doctor,” Kenzie shared, “but I can bring hope, spark conversation, and support meaningful change through my work.”

💬 Let’s show some love to this young artist and all the Lake Oswego students using their creativity to make a difference.

Hi! My name is Kenzie Park! I’m 100% committed to attend Chapman University in the fall and will be majoring in Fine Arts. I have loved art ever since I can remember, especially painting. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, shopping, and relaxing. I can’t wait to study abroad and get to experience new places around the world. I’ve been lucky enough to go on an African safari, visit Thailand, Europe, and Mexico. I’m so excited to be a part of the Wilkinson College of Fine Arts. Can’t wait to meet new friends, so feel free to reach out!

We launched our new website & the DNA Dance Off challenge in style Friday, Aug 8 in Lake Oswego at the stunning home of Matt & Sabrina Park.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Park family, their friends, and the amazing artwork of their talented 17-year-old daughter McKenzie Park, we raised over $20K 🙌💜 🎨Her art turned creativity into impact, helping us fund our mission to raise public awareness for genomic sequencing—a powerful tool to fight cancer differently and save lives.

Special thanks to @hitmachinetribe for keeping us dancing as we rocked our DNA! 🎶🧬

From all of us at Sequence Me Now—thank you for helping us fight cancer differently!
