POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I moved to Sarasota two years ago with the sole mission of joining the main company. It had been a dream of mine since I was 17 to dance here, and getting a position in the studio company was the first step towards making that happen. My time here was impactful, difficult, rewarding, and eye opening, to name a few. I learned a lot, and danced even more. I made good friends, and good memories. I kayaked for miles. I survived a hurricane. I debuted with a professional company. I lay in the sun, and I swam in the sea. I gave it my all, and I am proud of what I did here.

However, after two seasons here, I am leaving Florida in a couple weeks. That’s just how it goes sometimes. To the Sarasota Ballet, to my bosses, teachers, friends, and peers (I couldn’t tag you all but you know who you are) thank you for the impact you had on me, good and bad. I will always remember you. To the great state of Florida, you are a terrible, wonderful place and I think I love you. To Amelia, thank you for your love and your patience. You are my anchor.

All that being said, I am excited to announce that I will be joining Wonderbound in Denver for the 26/27 season! I am so looking forward to this next chapter, to continue growing and dancing and performing, to returning to the West. I am so lucky to call this my passion and my work. We out.

my first professional season with @sarasotaballet has officially come to a close, and I could not be more grateful for what this year has brought. This program, I had the honor of revisiting Sir Frederick Ashton’s ‘Birthday Offerings’ again. I also enjoyed performing Sir Peter Wright’s phenomenal ‘Summertide’ and Damme Ninette de Valois’s ‘Checkmate’! Cannot wait for the exciting season ahead!! 🌟
