Last year, I had a vision to capture the beauty of diversity — showcasing different skin tones, body types, and hair textures across both men and women. It amazed me how, despite our differences, the same blood runs through all of us, reminding me that we are truly one people. This personal project, which took 48 hours to shoot, was incredibly meaningful. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who participated and helped bring it to life. Special thanks to Chronixx for creating the masterpiece Black Is Beautiful — a song that will always hold a special place in my heart.

Hosting a vision board party has always been on my bucket list, and this year, I finally made it happen!

I won’t lie, planning it took two whole weeks of stressing over every little detail, but once you mix the right people, a beautiful location, and some amazing food, the magic just flows.

If you’re thinking about hosting one yourself, here are 4 tips to help you pull it off:

1️⃣ Pick the Perfect Spot: Somewhere inspiring, like Holywell, creates the ideal setting for good vibes and creativity.

2️⃣ Gather Your Supplies: You’ll need magazines, scissors, glue, and boards. Check out Woolworth at Village Plaza or Practical Stationery & Gift Centre in King Plaza. Or, if you prefer online shopping, hit up Amazon.com!

3️⃣ Serve Delicious Food: Trust me, great food is a game-changer. Big shoutout to @nlm_business_solutions_ they crushed it with the catering!

4️⃣ Set the Mood: Play some music, encourage everyone to share their goals, and let the creativity flow.

It was such an amazing way to kick off the year, and I can’t wait to do it again! Ready to create some magic of your own? Let’s make 2025 the year we go after it all.
