Fun times at the AGF in Bossier! I won all my matches yesterday. I got to share the mat with another AGF sponsored athlete, Reese. She put up a good fight! I’m excited for any future matches I'll have with her, and can't wait to see her continue to become an amazing grappler. Man what a ride it has been. I still am processing all the emotions that have came from this stage of life. Above all the other stuff I have felt I have primarily felt glad. So very glad for all the people in my life that make the school i’ve spent so much time at memorable. I’m so thankful for my closest friends, Dylan, Hayden, Marc, and Rachel (if I forgot to mention someone I apologize) for always pushing me to be a better person, friend and athlete. These people are the reason I have been able to push past the things I couldn’t handle on my own. I want to give a super special thanks to my brother, best friend, and mentor Gabe for supporting me through literally everything. I am challenged daily to be more like him in everything I do. I’m thankful for my soccer team that I played alongside for 6 amazing years. Even though we sucked it was the people that made it worth coming back every single year. Im just so very grateful to have people that make saying goodbye so extremely hard. First AGF tournament as a sponsored athlete and I’m beyond grateful for the experience. Came home with 3🥇 and 1🥉, going 6-2 with 6 submissions.
