McMaster Theatre Clubs invites you to Mac’s 2nd annual theatre formal (that’s right we reached the bare minimum to say annual)!

Tickets are currently on sale at the link in our bio.

The event takes place April 2nd at 7:00 PM in the Hub. Tickets are $35 and currently only open to theatre club members.

HEATHERS 25/26⛳️⛳️⛳️ I can’t even believe what we were all able to achieve with this production. Everyone in the company worked so incredibly hard and it resulted in selling out our entire run almost immediately. Heathers has been my dream show to direct for almost a decade now and getting to do so alongside the person who sat me down and showed me the musical for the very first time was exactly the way I would have wanted to do it<3 I’m so grateful for the trust that was put in me to pull this one off❤️💙💚💛

Crap. I’m so genuinely insanely sad that we’ve wrapped this up. I think it was obvious from the second I stepped into the audition room in a blue blazer but Veronica has been a dream role of mine since I was waayyy too young to have been a fan of Heathers. This is the only musical in the world that I know like the back of my hand, and I’m so grateful to our prod team for trusting my intuition and letting me have so much fun and flexibility in this role to truly make it my own both vocally and character wise. I really poured everything I had into this, and I’m so lucky to have gotten to do it with all of you.

This cast and crew are family to me. Thank you guys for taking me under your wing and making me feel so immediately at home at MMT. Sundays were always the highlight of my week, and there isn’t a price that I wouldn’t pay to get to have fun with you guys on stage just one more time. Everyone in this show is so exceptionally talented, and I’ve walked away as such a more whole performer and person thanks to the caring members of this production- as well as with some friends that I will cherish for a lifetime.
I wasn’t able to tag everyone but special shout to @sophia.smith_vliek for being the best choreographer and friend that I could have ever asked for.

Thank you to my friends and family back home for showing up for me so hard during this show run in spite of the long commute, and for always believing in me even when I didn’t myself. I left every show with so many heartfelt gifts and kind words from you guys, and it was genuinely the most loved I’ve felt in my life. ALSO! We sold out for the first time in MMT history (I think) which is CRAZY!!

I’m so excited for what’s to come next. I know there’s still a super long journey ahead but this experience has given me the courage to face that head on. I’m sad to say goodbye to Ms.Sawyer but whooo knows. Maybe I’ll claw my way back to her again someday when the time is right.

Thank you all so much for this. It’s been so beautiful.
