Since I have been in quite a creative rut this past month or so here’s a little throwback to a photo shoot I did with Marina over @mcmd.photography 🫶🏼

Marina is an actual angel and I had so much fun with her! I was so dang nervous to do a real shoot for the first time and it was so smooth and effortless with her. She just started her silversmithing journey @sweetticasilver and it’s been so awesome to watch her absolutely crush.

The smithing community I’ve connected with out here in the PNW has been nothing short of amazing, I feel like I’m finally home 🫶🏼

Today is my first day back at the bench for 2024. I’m excited to say the least, creating makes me feel so good, so whole.

I’ll be busting out a few customs first then starting to work on the first collection of the year.

I can’t thank y’all enough for the outpouring support last year, just when I thought about throwing in the towel y’all showed the hell up and helped me see that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do. I’ve finally found my calling.

I have some big goals this year, some that I honestly made last year and never had the time to do. But this year there’s no more excuses, it’s time for me to truly give this my all.

My biggest goal is to master prong setting so I can finally fulfill your requests to make engagement rings!

My second, which is just as big, is to have a collection release once a month. Full of pieces created with intention and purpose. The highest of quality. I think I’ll be slowing down with markets and focusing on collections instead. No more racing against the clock to make as many pieces as possible. Instead I’ll be taking as much time as necessary and putting my heart and soul into each piece.

I’m sure I’ll have many more goals this year and this is just the beginning.

But for now, I’m starting here and saying thank you!

Today is my first day of my self-proclaimed holiday break and I’m pretty dang excited for some time off with my main squeeze.

Torrin and I are headed down to Arizona to spend time with family and get in some desert time. It’s already got me dreaming of making more pieces like these and you know I’m going to be stopping in some rock shops down there to gear up for a desert inspired collection🌵

Today is the day!

The ‘Abundance’ collection goes live on my website at 4pm PST⚡️

This collection means a whole lot to me. I’ve been slowly explaining my whys over the past week but my biggest is because this week marks two years since my pup Malachite passed. He meant the world to me and really anyone who got the opportunity to meet him, he truly was a special pup. I adopted him fresh out of high school and we grew up together, we went through it all side by side. I named my company after him and everything I create is in his honor.

This collection is also full of Montana Agate cut by @saldigsmt who also knew him. Montana Agate is from my home state and Mal and I would spend our days combing the Yellowstone looking for agate and petrified wood. Really some perfect timing, full circle stuff.

I’ve poured my heart and soul into each of these and I think it shows. I’m so excited to finally share all of these with you and I can’t wait to see where they end up.

TOMORROW.

It’s finally (almost) here y’all. The ‘Abundance’ collection hits my site tomorrow, Monday, October 30th at 4pm PST. There are 26 one-of-a-kind pieces with a mix of bolos, rings, cuffs, earrings and pendants. A little bit of everything and a whole lot of magic.

This collection means a lot to me, I’ve spent the last month pouring my heart and soul and all of my time into it. I took the month off of markets in order to do so and it was pretty wild to see my creativity spark with the extra time and space. I love markets and I love meeting all of you in real life but they can be exhausting and time consuming and sometimes you don’t even make your booth fee back. So this was a nice little refresh of a month to really get back into the more intricate pieces I love creating.

I’ve also had a lot going on in my personal life behind the scenes and it’s been so nice to have smithing as an outlet, as a way to escape and let my mind be free.

I am forever grateful for this craft, the opportunity to connect with so many of you and to be able to deck you all out in my jewels.
