*NEW FILM* “Godstone” on @madrockclimbing’s YouTube. I’ve always had a lot of respect for route developers. We wouldn’t have any climbing without em. There’s a lot that goes into putting ups first ascents and that practice can take years to develop. @mcneely23 has always had a lot of vision when it comes to putting up FAs especially squeeze blocks. Watch as Taylor travels around exploring Utah from corner to corner in search for the perfect boulder.

FIRST IN FLIGHT premieres TOMORROW on @madrockclimbing YouTube at 10AM Mountain Time!
.
Squad vibes were immaculate. Tay and Austin bickered nonstop (for sport). Kenny saved Matt’s life in a dramatic fall. Siri and Jessie made Gen Z references nobody else understood. And while I’m no @allisonvest I managed to squeeze my way up a full span boulder! Save the date. Do not miss this one!

Watching this film start to hit the big screen and hearing about all the great reactions, tears, laughs, and thrills - it’s just so exciting as the director to get these emotions from a crowd! Another screening going down tonight at @touchstoneclimbing in the Mission, Ethan’s home gym from waaaayyyyy back when. Also happy 40th birthday to Ethan!

@madrockclimbing team getaway as we premiere the “First in Flight” Boone bouldering film! Always a great time out here, and lucky for me, I get to stay a few extra days and sample some dope blocs!

A few days ago I FLASHED “Atomic Melvin low” (v12/13) marking my hardest flash to date. Extremely psyched as flashing boulders is quite hard for me, I usually get way too psyched and pull on before I’m actually ready. Maybe I’m learning, or maybe I got lucky! After that, @mcneely23 showed me a funny lil proj around the corner. Not sure if it was the cool holds or perfect rock, but we were psyched. . . Twenty minutes later I climbed the First Ascent of “Gooch” (v10?). If you try it, you may understand the name more.

Ontop of all the fun I’ve been having, I found myself a bunch of projects! Too many projects for this trip, but hopefully I can finish up at least one! Only got a few more days left, and it’s about to get pretty hot, but there’s always a chance!
