🎃🎶 Something spooky is coming to the Horticultural Centre! We’re absolutely delighted that the wonderful Acoustic Attitude will be joining us on Saturday 31st October, bringing some spooky sounds and musical magic to the glasshouses! We can’t wait to see how the atmosphere changes as the music fills this unique setting… perhaps a few of our tropical plants and cacti will get into the Halloween spirit too! 🌵🕸️ A huge thank you to this incredibly talented and generous group for giving their time and talents to raise funds for Blossom – Health Through Activity. 💚 What a lovely way to celebrate Halloween, enjoy live music and support a local charity! 🎃 Come along and soak up the spooky atmosphere!

🍂⏰ It’s that time of year again! The clocks go back this weekend, the evenings are drawing in, and winter is on its way! From Wednesday 28th October, Blossom at Wythenshawe Park Horticultural Centre will be closing at 3pm throughout the darker months. This gives our wonderful volunteers time to finish their activities, tidy up and make their way home safely before it gets too dark. There’s still plenty happening at Blossom as we embrace the changing seasons, and we look forward to welcoming you during our winter opening hours! Stay warm, stay safe and enjoy the autumn colours!

Round of applause for @slowrunclubmcr & @mcrparks_ for bringing run clubs from across the city to light up the park to promote the need for safer running spaces in the winter months and darker nights. Running should be safe for everyone.
