Athletes work incredibly hard to earn money — but very few are taught how to manage it. And that is where things can go wrong. You do not need to become a financial expert. But you do need to understand your own money: where it is, how it is invested, what taxes you owe, and who you are trusting. I wish I had paid more attention to this while I was still playing. Because your career may last 10 or 15 years. Your life after it will be much longer. Your money is your responsibility. Stay in control of it. #LifeAfterSport #AthleteFinance #AthleteTransition #FinancialLiteracy

What a final. What an atmosphere. What a moment for women’s volleyball. I’ve played six European Championships myself and won four titles, so I know what these matches feel like. My last European gold was in 2001 in Bulgaria — also against Italy, also 3–2. Yesterday in Istanbul, watching Türkiye and Italy swing the match back and forth brought all those memories back. Italy looked dominant in the first and third sets. At one point, I honestly thought they might run away with it. But Türkiye kept coming back. Again and again. And in the moments that mattered most, Melissa Vargas delivered — 28 points and an MVP performance — but this was very much a team win: players, coach, bench, and more than 17,000 people pushing them from the stands. Türkiye came back twice from a set down to win 3–2 and secure their place at LA 2028. The level of volleyball was phenomenal. But what impressed me even more was everything around it. The full arena. The noise. The emotion. The brands. The visibility. The feeling that women’s volleyball here is much bigger than just a sport. These players are national heroes. And for so many girls, they are also proof that strong, ambitious women can take up space, lead, win and be celebrated for it. That is why Türkiye’s women’s volleyball story is so powerful. I left the arena incredibly proud of my sport — and very curious to see how much further this can go. Women’s volleyball is having a moment. And Istanbul showed exactly why. 🏐🇹🇷 #EuroVolley #WomensVolleyball #Volleyball #cevvolleyball

We believe in the artist before the audience. In ideas before algorithms. In practice before recognition. In curiosity before convention. Because being undiscovered has never meant being unworthy of discovery. The next artist, image-maker, designer or voice worth knowing may already be making the work. We intend to find them.

Some of the most interesting work exists before anyone is looking. Before the recognition. Before the introduction. Before the right room. CastleHaus was created to look there. To discover emerging voices, bring their work into view, and create the connections that allow ideas to travel further.
