Fifteen-Inspired Cookies 🤍

If you’re from Northern Ireland, I don’t think the humble Fifteen needs much of an introduction.

It’s one of those little bakes that seems to have been around forever, at birthday parties, church teas, family get togethers and tucked into traybake boxes.

So for this week’s Friday recipe, I thought I’d have a little fun with it.

I’ve taken those familiar Fifteen flavours we all know and love and turned them into a big, chunky cookie with plenty of Digestives, coconut and glacé cherries, finished with white chocolate and marshmallows.

A little different from the Fifteens we grew up with, but unmistakably inspired by them.

The full recipe is in the comments, so make sure you save this one for later.

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we have at home. If you give it a try, I’d love to see your version, so don’t forget to tag @fourweebakesandabun.

Love,
Cathy x

If you’re from Northern Ireland, this ingredient line up might look very familiar…

Digestives, condensed milk, coconut, glacé cherries and marshmallows.

You’d be forgiven for thinking I’m making a good old fashioned Fifteen but tomorrow’s Friday recipe is taking one of our best-loved little Northern Irish treats and doing something a wee bit different with it.

There’s something I love about taking the bakes we all grew up with and finding a new way to enjoy them, without losing the flavours that made us love them in the first place. All the flavours of a Fifteen are still there… just not quite as you know them.

I’ll reveal the finished bake tomorrow, along with the full recipe.

Love,
Cathy x
